Instructions to Un-Install the Advanced Searchbar

We are sorry to hear that you are no longer interested in using our Advanced Searchbar.
We would love to hear why you wish to stop using the Advanced Searchbar. Maybe there is a feature that you wish to have in the toolbar that we do not currently offer. We value your opinion and hope that you can take the time to tell us why you no longer wish to use the Advanced Searchbar.

The Advanced Searchbar installs with the Windows un-install function. Here are the directions to un-install it.
- Close all programs.
- Do one of the following:
- Windows 95/98/NT
- Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- Windows Me
- Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- If you do not see the Add/Remove Programs icon, click "...view all Control Panel options."
- Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- Windows 2000
By default, Windows 2000 is set up the same as Windows 98. In that case, follow the Windows 98 instructions. Otherwise, click Start, point to Settings, point to Control Panel, and then click Add/Remove Programs.
- Windows XP
- Click Start and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Add or Remove Programs.
- In the list of programs, select Advanced Searchbar
- Click Add/Remove, Change/Remove, or Remove (this varies with the operating system). Follow the prompts.
If you get an error message that says "Cannot find Install.log" this usually means that you deleted the program directory before using the Windows un-install function. To remedy this, you will need to re-install the program, then follow the instructions above.
